Marisa Brunetti, VMD

Marisa Brunetti is a native Pennsylvanian, raised in Phoenixville and Chadds Ford. She graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in public relations and biology – and also an intense love for college basketball and anything orange! She moved back to Philadelphia for veterinary school at Penn.. After graduation in 2010 she went directly into private practice, spending time as a general small animal practitioner and learning shelter medicine. Marisa spent a year as a regional medical director for a veterinary company in Texas, helping them to open over ten veterinary clinics and hire over 15 veterinarians.In 2018, Marisa moved back to the Philadelphia area and joined IndeVets. Marisa is the chief veterinary officer for the company, supporting her doctors’ practice of medicine, nurturing partner hospital relations and doing her part to improve the quality of life of veterinarians everywhere. She continues to practice veterinary medicine in our partner hospitals weekly.In addition to being a general small animal veterinarian, she has served on the board of directors of Animal Lifeline, an animal rescue based in Warrington, PA and as the Board Chair and Board Trustee for District 7 for the PVMA. She also sits on Penn Vet's Alumni Board and the steering committee for NOMV's CLEAR Blueprint program.When she’s not working, she loves cooking, reading, fitness, and anything outside! She especially loves to travel. Marisa goes on at least three trips each year – one with her fiance, one with her best friends from Syracuse, and one with her best friends from veterinary school. She has two big goals: visit all 50 states and all Major League Baseball parks!Marisa also enjoys spending a lot of time with her family, friends, two cats—Teddy and Phoenix—and two dogs, Lois Lane, a mutt from the streets of Houston (8% chihuahua!), and Oliver (100% Chihuahua)!
