The reality of veterinary medicine is that not every client can or will pursue intensive diagnostics and treatment for their cats. Clinicians are often frustrated by treatment choices that benefit the patient and are within a client's budget. In this presentation, treatment choices, to include antibiotics and other supportive care options will be discussed. Empirical treatment can be thoughtful and can result in patient well-being and client and clinician satisfaction.
