The list of possible diagnostic tests is increasing and thoughtful care mandates that tests are chosen with an eye towards ones that are most helpful. Diagnostic testing can be expensive and when confronted with clinical conundrums, it's tempting to order a plethora of tests and see what "sticks." In this presentation, we will discuss particular disease processes and develop a step-wise, rational plan for choosing meaningful diagnostic tests for feline patients.
