Dr. Yatta Boakari received her degree in veterinary medicine in 2012 from Universidade Federal do Piaui (Brazil), a Master’s in 2015 (UNESP-Botucatu, Brazil), and a PhD in 2019 in Theriogenology (Animal Reproduction) from the Gluck Equine Research Center. She completed a residency and post-doctoral fellowship in 2021 at Auburn University. Dr. Boakari is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists since 2022. Dr. Boakari joined the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences at Texas A&M as an Assistant Professor in October 2021. Dr. Boakari teaches reproduction of domestic species at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science Department and is the director of the Comparative Reproductive Laboratory.
