Dr. Madeleine Stein is an assistant professor in small animal internal medicine at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018, before moving to Canada for a rotating internship and master's degree in antimicrobial stewardship at the Atlantic Veterinary College. She completed her internal medicine residency at Tufts University in 2024. She has a particular interest in antimicrobial stewardship and difficult to treat infections, she is really enjoying seeing a whole host of new infectious diseases working in the Louisiana swamp.
