Tina Brown, DVM, MS, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Tina Brown graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Auburn University after receiving a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a research focus on endocrinology. She completed a rotating internship in companion animal medicine and surgery and a residency in dermatology at Louisiana State University. During her residency, she performed research in the Pythium laboratory at LSU and published research detailing a novel technique for culture and susceptibility testing for Pythium insidiosum and Lagenidium spp. Dr Brown has practiced as a board certified dermatologist since 2008 and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD).
