Nutritionist and Educator
Verity Vet Nutrition, truth in every bite
Dr. Danielle Conway is a veterinarian with extensive experience in integrative medicine and nutrition and has successful completed a nutrition residency. Her pursuit of “helping patients live their best lives” has led to training and working alongside leading professionals countrywide. She has certifications and advanced coursework in veterinary acupuncture, spinal manipulation, rehabilitation, and nutraceutical support. Her approach to combine traditional medicine with evidence based individualized integrative modalities to achieve optimal wellness has spanned clinical specialty practice, non-for profit, academia, corporate, and industry.
Dr Conway’s passion for education and client communication has led her to the creation of Verity Vet Nutrition program, truth in every bite. The program’s main areas of focus are to provide quality non-branded nutrition education that teaches veterinary professional how to provide quality, actionable and specific nutrition recommendations to both sick and healthy pets with a high client compliance. The program also teaches clinics how to improve revenue, staff retention and empowerment, while making specialty nutrition access to clients more affordable than direct to veterinary nutritionist options. If the clinic is not interested in the Verity Vet Nutrition Certification program, they may also consult with Dr Conway directly on their challenging nutrition cases through the “Nutritionist in your pocket” program.
Dr Conway’s personal interests include researching science-based next-generation wellness techniques, environmental stewardship, and doing anything outdoors, including gardening, skiing, biking, running, and hiking. She is also passionate about using her integrative training to promote a growth mindset to help reduce veterinary profession burnout and support staff empowerment.
In addition to a variety of food named furry companions, and a glow in the dark Axolotl named Bacon, (unfortunately no feathered, or hooved companions at this time) Dr. Conway shares her New England home with her husband and two beautiful and spirited human primates (aka her daughters).
