Dr. Magnotti graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship and residency focused on Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine at Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Virginia. Dr. Magnotti achieved board certification in Avian Practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian through the World Aquatic Animal Veterinary Association. In 2023, she joined the team at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists where she currently works in the Avian and Exotics Department, seeing cases and mentoring interns and visiting veterinary students. Dr. Magnotti enjoys teaching and sharing her enthusiasm for birds and exotic animals.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Magnotti enjoys playing guitar and piano, exploring nature, playing video games, and birdwatching. She shares her home with her partner, Chris, and their extensive menagerie of pets, including parrots, rabbits, snakes, frogs, and lizards. She enjoys enriching the lives of her pets through activities such as agility training with her Argentine Tegu lizard, Gunter, building foraging toys for her parrots, and bioactive enclosures for her frogs.
