Dr. Cade Torcivia, VMD, currently serves as the Teaching and Research Associate at University of Pennsylvania's new Bolton Center in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. They graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, and following graduation completed a year-long Havemeyer fellowship in equine behavior research at New Bolton Center under the mentorship of Dr. Sue McDonnell. From 2018-2020, they worked as a fellow in the Laminitis Lab at New Bolton Center. They received CAAB certification in 2021 from the Animal Behavior Society and completed an MSc in animal welfare and behavior from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
