During this session, Dr Toresson will discuss hyporexia in cats, nutritional assessment of feline patients and guidelines for tube feeding. Furthermore, principles for work-up of the hyporectic cat will be discussed as well as the influence of cobalamin deficiency on the feline appetite. Two cases of less common, but likely underdiagnosed, causes of feline hyporexia will also be presented.
