This lecture will begin with a discussion of equipment needs and then progress into a step by step discussion of single rooted extractions. Next, we will cover sectioning for multirooted teeth. Finally, we will introduce flaps and buccal bone removal for surgical (open) exractions when necessary for canines and other large teeth as well as ankylotic teeth
