Beyond the Basics: Helpful Hints to Increase Your Success with Acupuncture

Learning acupuncture points and what they may be used for is just the beginning when incorporating veterinary acupuncture into your medical toolbox. In this session, the speaker will provide tips on needling difficult animals and challenging acupoints (e.g., sensitive or potentially dangerous points), and how and when to use acupuncture techniques such as electro-acupuncture, aqua-acupuncture, pneumo-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, etc. Some commonly used classical acupoints in small animals will also be covered in this session.
