Shelter medicine faces many challenges; from a massive influx of post-COVID returns to kitten bombs, and unexpected trauma, veterinary shelter medicine professionals must assess, treat, and re-home as many animals as possible with limited funds. This lecture focuses on ultimate utilization of basic equipment, to effect positive outcomes for injured animals.
