This session will cover the diagnosis and treatment of feline hyperthyroidism with a focus on how to manage patients that develop adverse reactions to methimazole and how to improve compliance with medication administration. We will discuss long-term management recommendations and touch on common concurrent diseases that may affect the success of treatment such as chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus.
