Practicing Skills to Optimize Equine Patient Care: CANCELLED

Catheters, suturing, and coil sets oh my! During this lab attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience in appropriate catheter selection and placement and how to apply that to cases in which you are assisting. After learning some in and outs about catheters you will also learn how to best secure them to the patient using a variety of suture types and patterns. Lastly we will learn how to avoid becoming coiled in coil sets and other fluid delivery systems.
